We work with trainers and gyms across the US and have developed the Rebound Trainer Network (RTN) to assist your program to get started and to actively promote your class once you begin. The RTN is available to you...which is comprised of instructors that started out just like you and now have successful classes and many have been teaching rebounding for many years. All of the instructors are eager to help and are just a phone call, email or text away from assisting you and answering your questions.

Certification vs Licensing

Kangoo Jumps offers Licensing (the use of the name)...there is Kangoo Jump Training, but there is no such thing as Kangoo Jumps Certification.

Kangoo Jumps "certification" should not be misunderstood....it is licensing of the Kangoo Jumps Fitness Programs that is available.

We can assist to license fitness professionals to use Kangoo Jumps Fitness programs (KJFP) through the manufacture if requested. We do offer training from our network of KJ Instructors and training from our Rebound Trainer Network Instructors which we have found to be preferred by most instructors.

We offer preferred pricing to our trainers who purchase from us and that includes all parts and accessories at discount rates that range from 15-35% off retail...The LOWEST PRICES ANYWHERE!!!

Getting Started:

If you don't have a pair...that is where to start. Just for contacting us about being an instructor, we will offer you a special 10% off your first pair of KJs and get you a Code Number with our program that allows you to start the marketing right away while you use your JumpBoots....and LOSE NO SALES.

The suggestion is to use your JumpBoots outdoors and begin the process of becoming familiar with rebounding and at the same time, get used to people asking you questions about the boots when they see you.

The next best step is wear a pair to your gym(s) that you want to target and peak the client interest as well. If you have a 5-pack of JumpBoots, we can assure that you have the common sizes for people to try them on as well.

We work with you based on your class projections for getting the sizes correct. Most classes buy from 10-20 pairs to get the process started and we have ratios from years of providing the equipment that we use to guestimate what you need if you don't have the exact sizes already in mind.

No certifification is required to instruct classes, Group Fitness Certification is recommended. As who you talked with...Welcome to the alternative to JumpBoots and our Rebound Trainer Network! That was most likely the head of Kangoo Fitness Programs, not the head of Kangoo Jumps in the US. We have several documented complaints of rude behavior from the Florida office, but we simply pass that information off to the manufacture for them to deal with. Much misinformation is passed along and we even have an email and testamonials of other instructors being told that the Kangoo Fitness Programs instructors cannot purchase from JumpBoots! The manufacture has supposedly corrected the situation and made all trainers aware that they can also purchase from JumpBoots, but Be Aware of mis-information...no matter who the source tries to pass themselves off as!!

Why does Bounce Shoe Store have weigh limits of 350lbs? Are you selling the same Kangoo boots? Where do you get your boots? Cathy K.

JumpBoots:

JumpBoots.com only sells the original Kangoo Jumps from the manufacture and we were the first US Distributor of the boots in the US back in 1997... our boots are purchased directly from the Kangoo Jumps manufacture. There are some inconsistancies out there, but the Manufacture has NEVER rated any model to handle over 250lbs. The XR3 was previously rated to 220lbs with an H-shell...and it can be beefed up with a Pro6 or Pro7 tsprings with even more additional capacity with the addition of metal coil springs...but no model can handle 350lbs according to the manufacture...We contacted them concerning this and I hope they stop misrepresenting and nobody gets hurt before they decide to correct it!

The Bounce Shoe Store (Kangoo Club Atlanta) sold a potential client a pair of model XR3, installed a pair of Pro6 tsprings and added a set of coil springs to accomodate his 270 lbs. We talked with him during the process and he was actually sent the XR3 re-boxed in a model Pro7 box with a re-label stating it was a model Pro6. Besides being incorrect with weight capacity, this is Fraud to re-box and re-label and it is a Federal crime to use the Post Office to deliver this fraudulant purchase across state lines. We informed him after seeing the pictures sent to us of the items that this was NOT correct and potential liability existed for the Bounce Shoe Store. Instead of pressing charges he simply returned the pair and we haven't been contacted by him since.

So BE CAREFUL out there....not every seller is Legitimate or knows what they are doing. The big concern with this distributor is she is actually training and licensing other intstructors under the official Kangoo licensing Program....YIKES!!

just wanted to reach out to Kangoo to get more information. I do not want to work for a gym, I want to be an independent instructor. I wasn't sure on how that works because clients won't want to go out and buy kangoo jump boots that have never taken the class. So I assume that I am supposed to buy a few pairs and supply them myself, is that how it works? I didn't know if kangoo possibly did financing or how to go about that. Also, how do you go about getting the licensing? Does Kangoo have certain places that we are supposed to go for the training or is it done online??

Yes, most instructors have from 5-20 pairs that they rent out to participants...once they take the class and like it, they usually want their own pair...that is why it is best to purchase extras as there is more of a discount with larger orders and you want them to purchase their boots from you so you can also make some profits from the sale.

Once you have purchase a minimum of (10) pairs, JumpBoots continues the bulk pricing for you for as little as 1 order. Shipping is more expensive with smaller orders, but we do not mark up UPS shipping. We do not offer financing, but the price is very reasonable at the 10 pair price.

Group Fitness Certification is all that JumpBoots recommends. We offer training and have several Texas trainers that can either come to you or you go to them (less expensive for you to attend their class).

Kangoo Licensing is done at pre-determined locations/times...please be aware there are several limitations that you should know about before signing up:
- your prices through the manufacture license programs are more expensive for models and parts than thru JumpBoots direct.
- you may be asked to sign a purchase agreement that has minimum purchases per year and larger bulk purchases than would be with purchasing from JumpBoots.
- once you are licensed, you have to continue getting renewals each year or 2 years and once you have signed up for licensing, you must maintain the license to continue the classes or as I quote from them "...Expired Instructors are no longer eligible to teach...to do so without a license may result in legal action."

When you purchase through JumpBoots, you have access to our Rebound Trainer Network which is made up of instructors across the US and they are very helpful for assisting new instructors. We can also get you all the training necessary for a successful class and for understanding the equipment to maximize your experience.

The Power Shoes are a mixed blessing....they should only be used by very light/not as strong kids (max wt is 80lbs) or they will have shell issues....the tsprings on Power shoes need to be changed more often. If they are yours for rentals for classes, the suggestion is to stick with XR3 (Xsmall is same as Small in Power, Small XR3 is same as Large Power) and adjust the tsprings for lighter weights...this will save you money (and grief) in the long run.

Training for Rebound Classes can be at your location or a best solution is to go to one of our trainers and get your training at their location. Current trainers offering this service are in Minnesota, Virginia, Northern & Southern California, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, New York and Indiana.

Southern California:

JumpBoots has its' warehouse and office in Redondo Beach, California.

We can offer you training in the Los Angeles area where we have several trainers that can teach you on how to instruct classes with a separate complete training on the Kangoo Jump Rebound Shoes technical aspects of the equipment.
